The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), in collaboration with MyGov, invites suggestions for the preparation of a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) on the “Care and Protection of Children of Incarcerated Prisoners.”

The SOP will be prepared with the objective of strengthening mechanisms for the identification, care, protection, rehabilitation, and overall welfare of children who are living with or are otherwise affected by the incarceration of their parents or guardians.

The SOP seeks to ensure that the rights, safety, dignity, and best interests of such children are duly protected through a coordinated, child-sensitive, and holistic approach.

NCPCR invites suggestions and inputs from stakeholders and citizens to help strengthen the proposed SOP and ensure effective mechanisms for the care, protection, and welfare of children affected by parental or guardian incarceration.

Project UDAAN: A Future Beyond the Prison Walls A Comprehensive Child-Centred Support System for Children of Incarcerated Parents 1. Background and Need Children of incarcerated parents often experience emotional distress, social stigma, financial hardship, educational disruption, and separation from their families. Although these children have committed no crime, they may face consequences that affect their dignity, development, and future opportunities. Their well-being should not depend on their parents' circumstances. Every child deserves safety, love, education, identity, and the opportunity to build a hopeful future. 2. Proposed Suggestion: Establish “UDAAN Child Support Centres” I propose establishing dedicated UDAAN Child Support Centres at district and community levels to provide coordinated assistance to children whose parents are incarcerated.

      आज की तारीख में Surviving Member Certificate बनाने को चले जाइए Rate है रू 8-10हजार । सरकार एसे चोंचले क्यों पालती है। अरे सीधा एक SMC का standard format(सभी जीवित परिवार सदस्यों के हक्षाकतर)जारी करे।

Suggestions on Care and Protection of Children of Incarcerated Prisoners I respectfully request the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) to include the following measures in the proposed Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the care and protection of children affected by the imprisonment of their parents or guardians. 1. Identification and assessment: Every affected child should be identified confidentially, and their safety, education, health, emotional well-being and caregiving arrangements should be assessed promptly. 2. Safe family-based care: Wherever safe and appropriate, children should remain with suitable family members or trusted caregivers. No child should be separated from their family unnecessarily. 3. Education and healthcare: Children should receive uninterrupted education, nutrition, healthcare, counselling and assistance in accessing eligible government welfare schemes. 4. Emotional and psychological support: Age-appropriate.

As human beings, we all make mistakes. Similarly, individuals with harmful intentions—whether they are criminals or simply possess a toxic mindset—have various ways of targeting children or vulnerable individuals. However, their core objective remains consistent, meaning that predatory behaviors follow recognizable patterns. As parents, as a society, and as governing bodies, we must establish clear, non-negotiable boundaries for our children and educate them on what warnings to look out for. Recognizing that individuals with these predatory patterns exist in society is the first step toward taking active, meaningful measures to keep our children secure.

To protect Your child from thieves, always keep your house doors locked and never open them for strangers or tell anyone you are home alone. When you are outside, use the buddy system to stay in groups, keep your expensive belongings hidden, and never leave your bicycle or backpack unattended. If a stranger in a car approaches you, run in the opposite direction immediately and always trust your gut feeling if a situation feels unsafe. always use snitated lotions to care your child skin

Being a mother I always prayed god to give tour PM the wonderful man who has strived hard towards the uplifting of this nation , I always dreamt of this country of being a place where my children live safely, I do trust you sir with this. Thanks for all your hard work and the sacrifices you have undergone for securing the future of this country. There are thousands of young people , young children who have worked all their lives with the dream of becoming successful in life, whoes dreams are shattered due to the introduction of AI. Many have lost their jobs, families have no earning , due to this I fear that there will be imbalance in society . How can all balance in society be secured
