Key Areas for Strategic Suggestions to ICAI Based on recent developments and industry feedback, stakeholders can direct suggestions around the following pivotal reform areas: • Scaling Up Indian Firms: Support ICAI's push to build mega-firms by proposing streamlined frameworks for LLP aggregation, multi-disciplinary networking (onboarding engineers, advocates, and architects), and capital infusion. Suggest robust operational guidelines for the upcoming digital collaboration platform, CA Setu. • Curriculum & Training (CRET Review): Provide feedback on the ongoing education scheme review. Key discussion points include evaluating the duration of the articleship period, balancing theoretical depth with practical exposure, and ensuring minimum stipend enforcement to prevent intern exploitation. • Technology & AI Integration: Advocate for structured frameworks regarding AI-assisted continuous auditing, data security, and fraud-risk detection standards, building upon initiatives

      1) Law and accountancy subject at CA Foundation level should include 30 marks mcq and 70 marks practical questions same as CA Intermediate . 2) ICAI should upgrade its study material as there are many mistakes and many things are still not updated at CA Foundation level. 3) ICAI Should Focus on question paper , situation like accountancy paper CA Foundation 2026 september shouldn't not happen, question's were out of syllabus and even 1 ques was from Intermediate so ICAI should be more focus towards question papers as it affects many of the students and their hardwork of many months . 4) ICAI should provide mentorship to students .

A Humble Suggestion Regarding Practical Training: As a CA Student, I would like to humbly share a suggestion regarding the duration of practical training. I sincerely believe that the existing two-year articleship structure can provide meaningful professional exposure when utilised effectively, and I respectfully request ICAI to consider retaining this duration. Instead of extending the period, the focus could be on making these two years more enriching and diverse. Students could be encouraged to gain practical exposure across areas such as audit, taxation, GST, accounting, financial reporting, technology and professional communication, wherever feasible. I respectfully request ICAI to consider strengthening the quality and breadth of the existing two-year articleship rather than extending its duration. Two years of deeper learning, meaningful exposure and genuine professional growth can perhaps be more valuable than simply adding another year. Thank you.

Idea: Transparent and Digital Articleship/Practical Training Portal I suggest that ICAI develop a centralized, technology-enabled platform for CA students and practicing firms to make the articleship/practical training process more transparent, structured and student-friendly. The portal could include: Verified articleship vacancies posted directly by CA firms and organizations. Mandatory disclosure of stipend range, working hours, location, type of assignments and expected skills. A standardized articleship/job description so students can understand the actual nature of work before joining. A transparent system for recording attendance, leave, training activities and completion of practical training.

ICAI should introduce a practical learning platform for students covering GST, Income Tax, Accounting, Tally/ERP, Excel and Audit through real-life case studies and simulated office tasks. Completion-based certificates/badges could motivate students and help bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical professional skills.

According to me ICAI should conduct the exams only twice a year. Because we get very less time to prepare for our exam because of three attempts in a year. And because of which ultimately person will fail in exam. That will to lead anxiety, self doubt ,low confidence . I genuinely appreciate ICAI for conducting exams thrice a year I know it's not an easy task . But it genuinely effects a student as we know passing rate is also very so most of students fails the exam and he will get only two months or less than two months for next attempt and from here the cycle of loop of attempts start. And it becomes very difficult for a student to deal with it . I'm genuinely facing the same can't explain who it feels when you know you can do it but still because of your past you can't make it I genuinely want ICAI to consider the same And please focus on your checking as well Because for someone that exam is everything Hoping for same

I request ICAI to consider providing free, personalized mentorship for CA students, especially those preparing through self-study. Many students lack access to proper guidance and would benefit from being able to interact one-on-one with experienced mentors, discuss their preparation strategy, clarify doubts, and receive personalized feedback. Such a mentorship initiative could help students prepare more effectively and improve their chances of clearing the CA examinations in their first attempt.

Suggestion to ICAI I would like to suggest an improvement regarding the delivery and tracking of hard-copy CA examination results. ICAI could consider providing an authorization/registration or tracking facility immediately after the result is announced, through which students can confirm their postal details and receive a tracking number via email/SMS once their hard-copy result is dispatched. This would allow students to track the delivery of their results and follow up in case of any delay or non-delivery, rather than realizing later that the document was never received. I personally faced a situation where I did not receive some of my hard-copy results, which made me think that a proper tracking mechanism could be very useful for students. This idea came to my mind as a way to make the process more transparent, reliable, and convenient for CA students. I hope ICAI will consider implementing such a facility in the future.

CA is a profession that requires long hours of study, which can sometimes make aspirants feel lonely and isolated. This may lead to stress, anxiety, and a decrease in the morale of students. Therefore, ICAI should conduct regular seminars where students can openly share their problems and concerns. ICAI can also appoint professional counsellors or therapists who can regularly organize such sessions, listen to students' problems, and guide them in dealing with stress and pressure, ICAI should also take initiatives to engage students in recreational and physical activities so that they can take a break from their studies and maintain a healthy balance. Providing students with opportunities to interact, participate in activities, and share their experiences can help reduce loneliness and stress. Professional guidance and counselling can further help students manage academic pressure and maintain their confidence and motivation Such initiatives can create a healthier learning
