The Government of India owns large areas of unused or underutilised land that currently generate little or no revenue. At the same time, many farmers are leaving agriculture due to uncertain income and lack of financial security. The government could introduce a “Government Farmer” scheme by identifying suitable government land and appointing experienced farmers and agricultural graduates to cultivate it. They could receive a fixed monthly salary and eligible government benefits while working under the supervision of agricultural experts. Crops could be selected based on soil, climate, water availability and market demand. Modern technology, scientific farming and efficient irrigation could improve productivity. This model can make unused government land productive, generate revenue from agricultural output, provide stable employment to farmers, create rural jobs, and encourage educated youngsters to choose agriculture as a respectable career.

BRICS Common Value Framework: 2026 Base-Year Pricing → Common BRICS Unit → GDP Revaluation → Unified Trade Benchmark 1. Fix 2026 as the base year and determine internationally comparable prices for major goods and services produced or traded by each BRICS country. 2. Define 1 BRICS Unit (BCU) based on a standardized basket of goods and services, representing a fixed quantity of real economic value. 3. Each country would calculate the value of its goods and services in BCU using the agreed international price framework. 4. Countries would then recalculate their GDP in BCU, creating a common measure of economic output without requiring immediate replacement of national currencies. 5. The BCU could become the common international accounting and settlement unit for BRICS trade. 6. National currencies would continue for domestic transactions, while international trade between BRICS countries could be settled using the BCU.

Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)
