The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), in collaboration with MyGov, invites citizens across India to share their constructive suggestions and innovative ideas through the initiative "Have an Idea? Share it with ICAI".
This initiative provides a platform for citizens, professionals, students, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders to contribute their valuable ideas for strengthening the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), the Chartered Accountancy profession, and India's financial and economic ecosystem.
Participants are encouraged to submit their suggestions on areas such as strengthening the Chartered Accountancy profession, promoting economic development, enhancing transparency and good governance, leveraging technology and innovation, improving financial literacy, supporting entrepreneurship, and contributing towards the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.
The objective of this initiative is to encourage meaningful public participation and harness diverse perspectives to help build a stronger, more transparent, innovative, and future-ready Chartered Accountancy profession while contributing to an inclusive, resilient, and sustainable financial ecosystem for the nation.

I am a CA Inter student and I feel that students should get more chance to share their problems and ideas directly with ICAI.
Many times students face different problems related to exams, study material, BOS, articleship and other things. We usually give feedback online, but after that we don't know what happened with our feedback.My idea is to make a small CA Student Advisory Panel where students from different cities and different levels of CA course can be selected. They can share the problems which students are actually facing and also give some suggestions to ICAI.The panel can have a meeting with ICAI representatives after some time. It can discuss things like exam related problems, study material, practical training, articleship and student services.One thing which I feel is very important is that ICAI can also tell students what happened after their suggestion. For example: Student suggestion → ICAI response → Action taken

**विषय: दिल्ली में वायु प्रदूषण कम करने के लिए बड़े स्तर पर एयर-प्यूरिफिकेशन सिस्टम लगाने का सुझाव**
माननीय प्रधानमंत्री जी,
दिल्ली में बढ़ते वायु प्रदूषण को कम करने के लिए मेरा सुझाव है कि प्रदूषण वाले प्रमुख क्षेत्रों, चौराहों, बस अड्डों, औद्योगिक क्षेत्रों और अधिक ट्रैफिक वाली सड़कों पर बड़े स्तर के **Air Filtration/Purification सिस्टम** लगाए जाएँ।
इन मशीनों द्वारा प्रदूषित हवा को खींचकर उसमें मौजूद धूल, PM2.5 और अन्य हानिकारक कणों को फिल्टर किया जा सकता है तथा साफ हवा वापस वातावरण में छोड़ी जा सकती है।
इसके साथ-साथ प्रदूषण के मुख्य स्रोतों—वाहनों, निर्माण कार्यों, सड़क की धूल और औद्योगिक धुएँ—पर भी सख्ती से नियंत्रण किया जाए। जहाँ संभव हो, इन एयर-प्यूरिफिकेशन सिस्टम को सौर ऊर्जा से चलाया जाए।
मेरा सुझाव है कि पहले दिल्ली के सबसे अधिक प्रदूषित क्षेत्रों में इसका **पायलट प्रोजेक्ट** शुरू किया जाए और परिणाम अच्छे मिलने पर इसे पूरे दिल्ली-NCR में बड़े स्तर पर लागू किया जाए।

I am writing to bring your urgent attention to a severe and pervasive issue within our profession: the widespread exploitation, psychological harassment, and abuse of article assistants by a section of practicing Chartered Accountants.
While articleship is designed to be a crucial training period for shaping future professionals, the reality for many students has become a ordeal marked by power imbalances, personal servitude, and toxic work environments. A significant number of article assistants are routinely forced to perform non-professional personal chores, subjected to verbal abuse, and made to endure extreme mental stress under constant threat.
The future of the Chartered Accountancy profession depends on the well-being and fair treatment of its students. I request the Council to take decisive action against defaulting members and send a clear message that abuse of power will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
