Respected ICAI , I'm Divyanshi, 19, a CA Inter student. My idea is "Notice Samjhao." Many people get scared when they receive an income tax or GST notice because they can't understand what it says. ICAI could start a simple WhatsApp service where anyone sends a photo of their notice and gets a plain explanation in Hindi or their own language. CA students like me, supervised by a CA, could do this as part of our training. People get clarity, and students get real practical experience.

Dear ICAI, I suggest that ICAI should reduce the focus on rote learning in the Law subject. Lots of aspirants which is preparing for ca foundation, inter, final are facing difficulties because of rote leaning, law subject is great but it would be better when students use their own thinking level instead of roting bookish language. Students should be encouraged to understand legal concepts and write answers in their own words instead of memorising and reproducing the exact wording of study material. We can use legal words (or law words). Law is mainly about understanding rules, thinking logically and applying them to real situations. The exam should give more importance to understanding, reasoning and practical application rather than simple memorisation. This would make learning Law easier, more meaningful and more useful for future Chartered Accountants.

Dear ICAI, My idea that I would want to share is about the "Programme for students who aren't able to clear the exams in one attempt or 2-3 attempts" Many students try writing the paper without an proper idea of the subject and course and tend to get stuck in the loop, I feel ICAI must think of starting an initiative to counsel, and guide students who aren't able to clear exams, but their potentials and interest towards the course is very high. As mentioned by our former president of ICAI, India needs about 3,00,000 CA's, this will be possible only when aspirants/ students have a clear idea about what the institution excepts from them. We join coaching centers, pay lakhs for training, but don't receive proper guidance from them, as they are only in need of money, and are usually not bothered about the success of students. So I feel this initiative will help lakhs of aspirants stuck in loop of exams & also reduce the number of people choosing ACCA or CPA & encourage them to choose CA.

Title: CA Connect – Helping Small Businesses Stay Financially Healthy India’s small businesses, shopkeepers and new entrepreneurs are an important part of our economy. However, many of them have good business ideas but do not have enough knowledge about cash flow, bookkeeping, taxes, compliance and financial planning. Usually, they approach a professional only when a problem has already occurred. My suggestion is that ICAI can start a “CA Connect” programme through its branches across India. Under the guidance of practicing CAs, CA students can help small businesses with a simple Financial Health Check once or twice a year. This can include checking basic accounts, cash flow, pending receivables, GST/ITR compliance, unnecessary expenses and common financial risks. At the end, the business can receive a simple report explaining what is going well and what needs attention. ICAI can initially start this in selected Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities and later expand it across India.

India Is Watching Its Water Commit Suicide: 1,500 Billion Cubic Metres Drown in the Sea Every Year While 600 Million Indians Face Drought By CA Anil K. Jain Chartered Accountant | Economist | Policy Researcher | Author President – Ahimsa Foundation India India faces one of the most extraordinary water paradoxes in the world During the monsoon, enormous volumes of water surge through our rivers. Floods inundate towns, villages and agricultural land, while swollen rivers carry vast quantities of freshwater towards the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal. Yet only a few months later, many parts of the same country struggle with declining groundwater levels, dry wells, drinking-water shortages and severe agricultural stress. This contradiction reveals an important truth: India’s water crisis is not simply a crisis of water availability. It is also a crisis of storage, timing and management. Read Full Article PDF:
