In an attempt to promote value of water in general and for supporting country-wide efforts on water conservation and sustainable development of water resources, Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Ministry of Jal Shakti launched a contest named “Water Heroes : Share Your Stories” Contest from 1st September 2019 running till 30th June, 2020.

Ministry of Tourism has launched the Dekho Apna Desh initiative whereby citizens are encouraged to take a pledge to visit at least 15 places in India by 2022.This initiative helped us engage youth across different segments and increase overall awareness of Domestic tourism in India. We are thankful to all the citizens who participated in this initiative.

As part of ‘Eat Right India Movement’ Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) in collaboration with MyGov.in conducted an online Eat Right quiz from Dec 12th, 2019 to Jan 20th, 2020 with an aim to enhance knowledge about basics of food safety and nutrition and encourage people to think towards eating right. The quiz was open for all Indian citizens.

On the occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Gandhi Smriti & Darshan Samiti in collaboration with MyGov conducted various programmes on continuous basis. The contest received an overwhelming response, a total of 1340 entries were received for the competition from different parts of the country and top 3 entries were selected. Top 3 winners will be awarded with Rs. 1,100 each.

On the occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Gandhi Smriti & Darshan Samiti in collaboration with MyGov conducted various programmes on continuous basis and one contest called STORY ON KARYANJALI. The contest received an overwhelming response, a total of 725 entries were received for the competition from different parts of the country and top 20 entries were selected. Top 20 selected entries will be awarded with Rs. 2,100 each.

On the occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Kasturba Gandhi & Mahatma Gandhi, Gandhi Smriti & Darshan Samiti in collaboration with MyGov conducted Paragraph writing contest on Kasturba – As I know. The contest received an overwhelming response, a total of 1958 entries were received for the competition from different parts of the country and top 10 entries were selected. Top 10 selected entries will be awarded with Rs. 5,100 each.

On the occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Gandhi Smriti & Darshan Samiti in collaboration with MyGov conducted various citizen engagement activities on continuous basis. These contests received an overwhelming response, with huge entries of participation across the country. Gandhi Smriti & Darshan Samiti & MyGov want to send a big thank to everyone who participated in our contest and helped make it a success.

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary year of the adoption of the Indian Constitution by the Constituent Assembly, Department of Justice, Ministry of Law & Justice, Government of India in collaboration with MyGov.in conducted a “Constitution Quiz” from 26 Nov 2019 to 25 Dec 2019 with an aim to create awareness amongst the Indian citizens about the Constitution and its special features, particularly Fundamental Duties, as enshrined in the Constitution and make all the citizens aware of their duties and follow them.

‘Fit India Quiz’ is an initiative by the Fit India Movement to create awareness among people across the country regarding fitness, health, and nutrition. This activity aims to engage, excite and enable citizens to motivate them towards fitness and raise awareness about fitness through an interactive learning process.

‘Sahi Fasal’   campaign was launched by National Water Mission on 14.11.2019 to nudge farmers in the water stressed areas to grow crops which are not water intensive, but use water very efficiently; and are economically remunerative; are healthy and nutritious; suited to the agro-climatic-hydro characteristics of the area; and are environmentally friendly.
