The outbreak of pandemic COVID -19 has converged people of the Nation to stand united in the fight against this deadly virus. In these testing and challenging times, there is a major challenge faced by the Government of India, which is the inadequate supply of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits, especially during an extensive demand for the same. Government of India along with local Administration jointly are trying to address and resolve this surging issue.

Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) hosted E-Waste Se Raksha- Swachhata Hi Suraksha: Grand Challenge on E-Waste Management on MyGov between 3rd -13th February 2020. Entries were invited from citizens on the theme: Environment-friendly methods/measures for disposal and recycling of e-waste. With the objective to tackle the rising challenges posed by electronic waste an effort has been made through this initiative to crowd source innovative solutions for collection, disposal and recycling systems.

As part of ‘Eat Right India Movement’ Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) in collaboration with MyGov.in conducted an online Eat Right quiz from Dec 12th, 2019 to Jan 20th, 2020 with an aim to enhance knowledge about basics of food safety and nutrition and encourage people to think towards eating right. The quiz was open for all Indian citizens.

On the occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Gandhi Smriti & Darshan Samiti in collaboration with MyGov conducted various programmes on continuous basis. The contest received an overwhelming response, a total of 1340 entries were received for the competition from different parts of the country and top 3 entries were selected. Top 3 winners will be awarded with Rs. 1,100 each.
