India’s achievement of a record $400 billion of goods exports is a shining example of the way this country is being governed, reformed, and transformed since 2014 with a mission to decisively improve the lives of citizens.

At MyGov, being an intern, I was facilitated with a plethora of experiences to learn and contribute to the process of nation building. I acted as an intermediary or link between MyGov and citizens for citizen engagement via various initiatives.

Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt of India organized the ‘Short Film/Anti-Tobacco Spot Making Contest’ on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day, 2021.

The logo design contest was hosted on MyGov portal seeking entries from Indian and Vietnamese nationals from 23 November to 23 December 2021. A total of 748 entries were received on the MyGov portal. In addition, 34 entries were received from the Vietnamese nationals through the Vietnamese Embassy in New Delhi.

To celebrate Cyber Security Awareness Month 2021 (CSAM) in October 2021, DSCI in collaboration with MyGov organized an Awareness Quiz to spread the importance and necessity for Cyber Security Best Practices among the netizens. The quiz started on 21 October 2021 and ended on 31 October 2021.

The Hon’ble Prime Minister, based on recommendations of the Group of Secretaries, decided to set up a dedicated e-market for different goods & services procured by Government Organisations / Departments / PSUs.

Over the last few years, Padma Awards have obtained a sense of inviolability with the government giving more importance to the work the nominees did, than to their identities. Ministry of Home Affairs, in collaboration with MyGov, launched the Padma Awards 2020 Quiz and Padma Awards 2021 Quiz to celebrate the outstanding work of the Awardees who were conferred with Padma Awards. The Padma Awards 2020 Quiz and Padma Awards 2021 Quiz were launched on MyGov as an initiative to create awareness about Padma Awards & Awardees.

The Padma Awards, announced annually on the eve of Republic Day are one of the highest civilian awards of the country. Conferred under the aegis of Ministry of Home Affairs, the Padma Awards in the year 2022 recognized the distinguished achievement of people in various fields from art and music to social service and science.

On Data Privacy Day 2022, DSCI in collaboration with MyGov organized an online Data Privacy Quiz contest to test Privacy knowledge in a fun way. The quiz started on 27 January 2022 and ended on 8 February 2022. With this year’s theme ‘Privacy Matters’, DSCI conducted various virtual activities which generated awareness around Data Privacy concepts, principles, and their importance in this digital age.

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) conducted a logo designing competition to commemorate the 25th year anniversary of its existence in 2022. Logo designing competition received an overwhelming response from the citizens across India. Total 1,043 entries were received and evaluated by a duly constituted screening committee.
