Ushering in new opportunities this year, MyGov organized a contest to design e-Greetings for New Year and invited MyGov users to choose the most endearing designs by sharing the selected e-Greetings.

The Government of India is organising the Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas on 7th-9th January, 2015 to connect India to its vast overseas diaspora and bring their knowledge, expertise and skills on a common platform. MyGov welcomes ideas from citizens, who have participated in the Open Forum ahead of Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas. Some selected contributions from the ideas received so far have been highlighted:-

A contest to design New Year e-greetings was held on MyGov. MyGov thanks all members for their enthusiastic participation in the contest which received nearly 790 entries. Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) is National Mission for Financial Inclusion to ensure access to financial services, namely, Banking/ Savings & Deposit Accounts, Remittance, Credit, Insurance, Pension in an affordable manner.The Yojana gets its name and identity from the citizens, who participated in the MyGov platform’s competition. The success of the scheme so far is a result of citizens’ sustained engagement and willingness to be a part of the change. MyGov continues to count on citizens’ actionable ideas and suggestions for covering all households under the scheme till 26th January 2015.
