New Town Kolkata Development Authority is pleased to inform you that our city has been selected under Fast Track Cities for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD).

The Smart City Proposal for Shillong City has been prepared for a project cost of Rs. 1459.60 crores with breakup of Rs. 1396 crores for Area Based Development and Rs. 63.60 crores for Pan City.

After completion of round –I for review of Smart City Proposal of New Town Kolkata and GAP identification and revised strategy formulation for bridging the gap and for up-gradation of proposal through citizen consultations, now to finalize and develop the implementation plan citizen engagement will be held between 31st March 2016 to 5th April 2016.

Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) and Dehradun Municipal Corporation (DMC) were jointly conducted various activities as a part of comprehensive Citizen Engagement for a Smart City Mission.

A press conference was held in the Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) town hall on 17th March 2016 at 4 pm to share a progress report on the up-gradation of the Panaji Smart City proposal.
