Ministry of AYUSH organizes the International Day of Yoga, the purpose of this event is to highlight the fact that Yoga can contribute in a holistic way to achieving equilibrium between mind and body. This approach to health and wellbeing can make a direct and useful contribution to humankind's quest to achieve sustainable development and move towards lifestyles that are in harmony with nature.

In view of the forthcoming International Day of Yoga-2018 and to generate awareness about the benefits of yoga for the comprehensive well-being of Indian women in the "40 plus" age group, Ministry of AYUSH invites you to share your ideas through the MyGov platform.

In the busy life we move with a chaotic mind. Yoga is like a miracle which calms the mind forming a balance between peace and chaos. It is obviously usefull to everyone of any age. So,even women above the age of 40 can benefit through this. But the highlight on this age group of women is the workload they go through everyday and even weekends turn out to be working days. Practicing yoga will relax them and increase their physical and mental power. It'll be beneficial in the long run.

As we all know that yoga help us to regenerate our physical, mental and spiritual powers. It is helpful for every gender and age. Today women are busy in their house making, building economy and most important caring for their loved ones. They don't get time for themselves. They are suffering from diseases, but 10 minutes of yoga every day will help them a lot. Each breath is a gift, lets not waste it.

Yoga should always play an integral part of our daily lives, Yoga also means to Unite. As a person who's been a part of certain yoga sessions, I feel that yoga does not only account for certain age group, it works for every single person .For Women above 40 to practice yoga,they should start from a very early stage so that they can try combating the issue from its crux.
