Violence against Women happens at small scale at various levels. One such place is 'overpowering by men while entering the State Transport Buses'. The seat reservation sale is stopped by the concerned authorities quite some time before the bus departure time. After that time, if the seat reservations are sold at the point of boarding, then women can buy these reservations and resolve the problem of overpowering by men. Women can be given this Job of selling the reservations at Boarding Point.

In most of the cities and towns you have very many dilapidated or deserted building which have become the place for bad elements in the society. Similarly there are so many vacant lands. All such buildings should be demolished . Similarly all vacant plots should be fenced. Plot of bigger area should have security men posted by the owners. Owners of such buildings should be responsible for the crime and they should be punished along with the culprits. Such laws should be brought .

Children should also be taught in schools about whom to complain and how to complain if someone touches them inappropriately. They should be taught to become fearless in raising such issues.

Rape is also a result of a) Drugs b) Molestors who turn into rapists c) Us vs them feeling in certain people who consider certain categories of females inferior. For the first two categories its not only strong laws but speedy implementation with strong financial impact to the doers (means the rapists, molestors, drug offendors should get financially crippled like OJ Simpson besides being jailed). Regarding us vs them change in approach which can only happen over long period by media
