Rape is a result of a mentality which considers women as sex objects. Youth are already much better than previous generation in terms of that mentality. But we need to eliminate this mentality and for that best is to create the right social messages with the help of bollywood and celebrities which have the most impact. Anyone who propagates such mentality should be sued and punished and immediately. A lot of leaders themselves have such mentality and they need to be scared of propagating it.

Among stuff that I have written over at my blog vinusv.blogspot.com 1. Delhi had a program called "Parivartan" that aimed at using Data Analysis to capture the statistics associated with crime. That data helped in identifying areas where patrolling is necessary, in turn, reducing crime (including violence on women). The program was defunded later. 2. Education, Education and Education. 3. Remove Gender Discrimination. Promote the Girl Child. 4. Teach boys to be respectful. #WomenSafety

Five days in a month when women is going through mensuration cycle, a very important part for human being as its linked to reproductive system. Yet in india women are subject to mental violence of being secluded in a corner or even go outside the home. We need youth education youth about important aspect of human life cycle and off course low cost sanitary pad to ease the pain for women and maintain hygiene

i feel we need harsher implementation of the laws. also we must stop victim blaming and abolish the stigma attached with sexual assault, or any assault for that matter. our children must be educated from the get go, that everyone is equal, and that RAPE IS BAD. also the fools (political leaders) who say things like 'boys will be boys', 'she was dressed indecently', 'she was drunk','she was asking for it', should be evicted from their post immediatey, and preferably have to spend time in jail

there is a saying that "dont tell your daughter not to go out, tell your son to behave properly" . Childrens should brought up being told that all Girls are like our mothers and sisters from the early stage."Matha,Pitha,Guru" these three has responsibilities for this. In my view, nowaday movies has grter impact changing social environmnts.Good movies shld b shown to childrens, cini industries has social responsiblities&produce movies with social messages.great icons shld do tht kind of movies

Education is the only permanent solution to the problem. Women need to be independent and should also teach their sons to respect a woman. Education upto senior secondary should be free or highly subsidized for girls. Coed schools must be encouraged and made sure that Girls and Boys have good interaction at an early age. Team building plays a crutical role.
