The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

Terrorism is altogether a different issue and we can not fight it on our existing legal system. India must put civil liabilities on the family members who cause loss of lives and property. It may deter the terrorist and such a law is in place in Russia.

1. We need educational TV which discusses various aspects of productive life, similar to PBS in US. 2.We need remove anti Hindu media and foreign influence to promote patriotism and peace. 3. Indians need training in 'organized group effort' and 'How to talk less and do more' 4. We need to reinforce the belief that "God helps ONLY those who help themselves". 5. We need to educate priests to promote Karmayoga in temples. Our great ancient temples and cities were not built only on bhaktiyoga.

The mining sector requires plenty of reforms in labour skills. The labour should know about the usage of newer techniques to identify the resources underground and also to make use of the experience from the seniors those who have involved in it. The passage traditional knowledge also important in this regard.

I lost my 10 years old son on 9th April 2014. Grief journey started since still continues. I could feel that i am connecting with Shree modiji since he sworn in in may 2014. Since then i developed more interests in listening to him at various venues and following analysis on his various missions. many times i operated from from my home office as his addresses were due on TV in the middle of the day.I was never like this earlier. Its good to see him successful. Dont know why but it feels good

Almost free food grains to the poor is good option, but more important to consider future consequences of manpower utilization in the country.
