The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

While the Government has been generous enough to announce Interest subvention scheme for economically weaker Indians studying in

People like Kejriwal who control the prices and don't allow free pricing of gas will never encourage deep sea divers or people working 4 km below the sea. Please ensure people see every aspect of labour and ensure that we get gas to cook food from private players and government and private refiners. So if these private companies have to motivate miners who are their employees then you have to de-regulate the pricing and don't impose tax only then consumers will be able to get favourable prices.

Physical fitness, and very inquisitive, brave, and personal who is curious to find something at the bottom which is more valuable than the commodity is designated to mine. People with the above traits may prove to be good miners according to my opinion. People who lack most of this should be regulated from creating panic and discouraging all those swimmers and deep sea divers.
