A hotspot is a place that offers Internet access over a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) through an Internet service provider using Wi-Fi technology. Public Wi-Fi hotspot allows the citizens to get free access to internet on their smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other mobile devices.

To make Delhi a smart and connected city, suggestions are invited on the major public places in Delhi where a free public Wi-Fi hotspot is most required for internet access. A maximum of 5 public places in Delhi may be specified per entry. The inputs can be provided in text, .doc or .pdf format.

Last date for sending your suggestions is 15th November, 2014.

MH/PUN/120473 - The PF Commissioner Pune office has repeatedly been rejecting my PF withdrawal application . Last time when I filed 2 RTIs ,the answer they gave was that it happened due to computer system error and please file once again . Now once again upon filling they rejected. No matter what you do , these Govt offices are still the same and its highly frustrating for innocent common tax payers who work in Private sectors like me who has no job guarantee , and even PF deposit is not safe

Major Public Places for Wi-Fi are: All Universities,Collages, Govt.Hospitals, Medical Institute,Delhi Metro ,Railway Station, Big Markets like Chandni Chowk, Chawri Bazar, All community/Distrct Centres etc.
