A hotspot is a place that offers Internet access over a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) through an Internet service provider using Wi-Fi technology. Public Wi-Fi hotspot allows the citizens to get free access to internet on their smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other mobile devices.

To make Delhi a smart and connected city, suggestions are invited on the major public places in Delhi where a free public Wi-Fi hotspot is most required for internet access. A maximum of 5 public places in Delhi may be specified per entry. The inputs can be provided in text, .doc or .pdf format.

Last date for sending your suggestions is 15th November, 2014.

Really poor condition of software employees work in private companies Gov should make new policies and law to these companies about salery with respect to education, working hours,job security and many other

We should open new sector under gov Where all sites r maintained by this sector no need to collaborate with private company. Private companies r making these software with employees of india which r working for lowest salery n same software is cost so mich for govt . The same employees which work for that software will be paying more tax to gov for that software or websites than they earned.

Bus, Railway, Metro Stations and Airports, Govt. Offices, Hospitals. Please make sure that it covers enough range (200 meters minimum) with good bandwidth. If it's hi-speed people won't even deny charges.

मा० प्रधानमंत्री जी, जिस प्रकार आप ने सांसद आदर्श ग्राम योजना के तहत,सांसदों को अपने क्षेत्र से एक गांव को गोंद लेकर विकास करने के लिए प्रेरित किया है,ठीक उसी तरह देश के सक्षम व्यक्तियों(व्यापारिक घरानों,पैसे वालों व अन्य लोगों) को भी प्रेरित करने की कोशिश स्वागत योग्य होगी,

The most important place where wifi facility is needed are stations where people can keep track of the trains online and also to stay online for carrying out tasks such as reading emails,etc while waiting for the train.
