Good Initiative by Govt but I feel that we should have strict rules and regulations followed by people to make this initiative successful.

I have very bad experience related to swatch Bharat Mission. I have raised the issue regarding the repair maintenance of BSNL units in public grievance that our city should be at least look good. But its just on paper govt official have not concerned with that. I m just mailing the all authority related to this for last 2 months but nothing is going to happen. It seems that Swatch Bharat Abhiyan only for the public but not for the govt officials.

Government has prepared budget for installation of toilets. Can the govt. not prepare a scheme for reimbursement of the amount against certification of the Panchayat. Responsibility of bringing water up to the village of course will be with the govt.

Do away with the big iron dustbins you have in every indian city. There is more waste outside it then inside. Rather like developed nation let it be collected by trucks on round early morning or late at night and as a norm all waste to be kept at certain collection points.

Municipalities should be effectively staffed and professionally managed. With deadlines and reviews. Helpline should be set for citizen and email addresses with job turnaround time marked. Like if a certain area is dirty or a pothole clogged we can call and inform and it should be addressed efficiently. This way you can employ labour and increase employment too.
