Solid waste and liquied waste management should be properly arranged and it should be awared by the people, at which point the garbage collected, proper arrangement to carry the garbage at site where it is used for fertiliser or fuel or other use. All the system should be properly manage by govt. or by NGO. they are also trained about, how to do such work accurately.

there is another problem. In my city (kanpur), i have sometimes seen that people actually want to throw garbage in dustbins but they don't find one! No one wants to keep wrappers or any sort of 'garbage' with them. with no option left, they have to throw it on that place itself. thus appropriate number of dustbins should be put up in every locality. Open canals should be treated well. Municipality should work more efficiently and workers should work sincerely.

Many a times i have seen educated people belonging to a well to do family indulging themselves in activities like throwing garbage on the roads, spitting etc. Thus, education is not the only problem. In our country there are so many laws, but not a single strict law which can restrict people from throwing garbage. If if the law is made, then it should be implemented properly. People should be fined for throwing garbage on roads.

We need a mind shift by slow and systemic changes. General awareness is created by the PM's message but we need to get local bodies on board with below tasks and each local body should have an SB cell to monitor cleanliness in their area. Municipalities - Get toilets at public places, waste bins on busy roads/junctions at every 100 mtrs, clean roads with proper infrastructure (sewage/cabling/walkway), waste management system. Panchayats - Toilets per house and awareness campaign, clean offices

Despite of so many efforts, this campaign is not able to bring the results which were expected. It is indeed true that it brought many changes and provided a platform for cleaning our county. But unfortunately, all these brilliant ideas given by the people could be failure just because of the casual attitude of many people of India towards cleanliness. One major reason is education. Not everyone are educated enough that they understand the need of cleanliness. but that's not the only reason.

n yes ppl should b asked to pay for these dustbins so that they do maintaince n not take it for granted n money should b generated from city ppl itself for waste treatment plant....ppl should b told its compulsary...coz payment for utilities in our country is anyways very less....when ppl will see actual realtime cleanliness on ground they wont mind paying.

If we talk about the cleanliness of a city having population of near about 5 lakhs say,gov should order the muncipality or nagar parishads, that if any entreupener has a idea about waste management and he/she wants to run a enterprise the corporation should support him and should give hi a chance to execute the task
