Suggestions Invited for Monthly themes to be taken as part of the celebration of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

As a run up to the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, citizens will be encouraged to take up creative activities each month. Every month a theme would be taken up until ...

As a run up to the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, citizens will be encouraged to take up creative activities each month. Every month a theme would be taken up until October 2, 2020 from October 2, 2018 onwards. Mahatma Gandhi in his seminal book, Constructive Programme Its Meaning and Place had talked about 18 constructive programmes. He had stressed that more programmes could be added as time passed. The 18 constructive programmes included: Communal Unity; Removal of Untouchability; Prohibition; Khadi; Village Industries; Village Sanitation ; Nai Talim or Basic Education; Adult Education; Women; Knowledge of Health and Hygiene; Provincial languages; National Language; Economic Equality; Kisans; Labour; Adivasis; Lepers ; Students.

By involving the above 18 themes in 18 months, six more months would be remaining.

Ideas are invited from the citizens on six more themes to be taken in six months. The ideas should be relevant for our contemporary society.

Those who submit the best themes could be given certificates

Last date of submission is 15th June, 2018, 05:00PM

Aapne desh hit me bahut bade kadam uthaye hai..eske liye kotisah dhanyawad , Sanyukt Rashtra sangh ke patal par 'Earth planet' jis par sabhi jeevan nirvah kar rahe hai esliye esko bachane ka samuhik kadam uthaye jane ke liye nivedan kare jis se prathvi ka astitva barkaraar rahe ya kisi doosre planet ko khoj le anytha Prakriti ki vinashlila ke liye taiyaar rahe !! Sab ka apna desh hai,apni sena hai,apna culture hai ye theek baat hai lekin unka niji planet to nahi hai.Hole world lives on Earth

respected sir the progress and prosperity of a nation can be determined the wayits animals are treated and we all know the condition in which animal are suffering in today ! sir please govt. must make some stringent laws which will protect the rights and values of our society ! there should be a campaign or a mission to create a ANIMAL FRIENDLY INDIA. They too are empowered with life its our duty that they get justice,they too have emotions they too get pain and hurts. animal friendly nation

Good afternoon respected PM. My name is Isha Jindal. I belong to Gurgaon I have recently cleared 12th class with 95 %marks from medical stream.But now my financial condition did not allow me to continue my studies.I am in very terrible condition as I wanted to study higher.But I belong to general category and there's is no single policy for us. It's sad that after scoring 95% marks we are not able to continue our studies because we belong to general category. Pls help me to fulfil my dreams.

they can makes our society will good and women are very cheated in past . But in modern times women are going to up to men works .And my last sugg that we will increase women.seats in assembly 1/3 reservation are not full .In India , we have al rights so we can give equal seats in assembly and others.

Respected our prime minister Mr. Narendra Modi to celebrate the 150 anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.From my ideas our prime minister take one suitble step to :- prime minister was started the swach bharat abhiyane. Its discison .we have launch new schme that to our Corruption. In India people are very corrupted they don't think about poor peoples . We should Minimize the corrpution its good idea to take in 150 anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi Ji.
