buildings and the local people should also be encouraged to adopt this
technology.

Few smart Solutions:3....
10.A smart city is one that offers a good quality life for all. A key aspect of this
is in ensuring that housing is available to all and affordable too.
11. Decentralization needs to be done to avoid traffic congestion in the city.
12.Installation of smart bins in the city with sensors to track the waste inside it
and when the bin is completely filled , it sends the automatic message to
the garbage bins collector drivers so that they can collect the waste.

city's lighting bill by 60-70%.
7. Broadband Internet access for all citizens which will reduce the digital
divide and spur economic growth.
8.3D Street art paintings within the Zoo and similar places to make it more
attractive.

Few smart Solutions:
1.A city guide app, with information about museums, parks, landmarks,
public art, restaurants.
2.Digital display boards should be used instead of traditional display boards.
Information like Air quality, nearest restaurant, hospitals, etc. should be
displayed.
3.Dynamic kiosks that display real-time information, concerning traffic,
weather and local news.
4.Conversion of public transport vehicles to low carbon alternatives.
5.Compulsory pollution certificate

traffic has become a major concern ... Especially during the rush hour times ... There are enough connecting roads to reach different parts of the city ...wherever possible Widening of these inner roads and diverting traffic will help in a the longer run . Bus bays near traffic signals has to be removed . Pavements had to be concretised .. To avoid dust . Infrastructure like parking complexes has to be provided at important centres .

Dear PM Modiji, First of all thanking you for selecting our town mangaluru for smart city project. In my view mangaluru is only the city in karnataka which has all the 4 means of transport. we have all the ability to make our city smart, but the issue is we dont have widen roads, not enough infrastructures on western part of the city etc., We have to focus on IT Campuses, MSEZ & MSA(Agricultural)Z Developments, Park & Open spaces, Recreation centres, World class Railways stations,Busstand etc.

Mangalore is developing in an exponential way ... The infrastructure like good roads ... Within the city is almost complete . The city at present should have good drainage ... The storm water drain has to be looked into ... concretisation of roads have taken place , but the storm water drain has not been looked into . There are enough storage water channels that lead into the sea ... But the channels are filled with lot of debris .

Dear PM ji,
Is it personal request you to Please make Gulbarga/Kalaburagi also Smart City,
When you announce first 100 city name first time there is a name of Gulbarga in that list.
In the north karnataka no city got smart city option Gulbarga is the Center point of north Karnataka.
But when you short list second time Gulbarga/Kalaburagi is removed from the list,
Why ??
is that just because of Rolling MP is from Congress party?
Or We need answer to this Please
