1) Segregation of waste at the source (home or business) into recyclable (tin cans, plastic, paper, cardboard), bio waste (food, gardening and organic waste).
2) Start cooperatives where residents of an area can donate of old furniture and large electronic items such as TV etc so that they can be resold instead of ending up in the landfill. Proceeds can be used to beautify the area or can be used for similar charitable deeds
3) Clean and useable public toilets at all busy areas

We need underpasses (A passage underneath something, especially a section of road that passes under another road or a rail road) in all major junctions of the city. If this is done people will not be loitering on the roads and traffic would move smoothly without hindrance. We also need Multi-storey car parks around the city so that people avoid parking on roads. Toilets and garbage bins every 500 mts would also help a great deal. Foot paths on busy roads for people on busy roads is a must.
