MANGALORE IS LACKING IN RAILWAY CONNECTIVITY TO OTHER DISTRICTS OF KARNATAKA.MY SUGGESTION IS FOCUS ON INTER CITY RAILWAY LINE WHICH LINKS MANGALORE TO NEIGHBOURING DISTRICTS SUCH AS CHIKMAGLUR,SHIMOGA AND HASSAN.THIS WILL HELP MANGALORE'S OVERALL COMMERCE ACTIVITIES.FOR ALL THE ABOVE SAID DISTRICTS EVEN THOUGH MANGALORE IS CLOSE BY DUE TO POOR TRANSPORT SYSTEM PEOPLE FROM NEIGHBOURING DISTRICT DEPENDENT ON BANGALORE AND MYSORE AS THEY HAVE BETTER RAILWAY FACILITIES TO THESE CITIES.
