Pasighat being a lone city eligible for the smart city criteria have already managed to bag the smart city scheme. however, the central govt need to know that this smart city scheme is the one and only way to develop the centurial old town pasighat.

Friends we must not forget the flood of 2000, Pasighat has been under constant threat from the mighty Siang river.Due to rampant deforestation by the illegal timber traders and the chronic failure of forest department to check the deforestation, the forest on the bank of the Siang has been wiped out and every summer lots of erosion are expanding the course of the river. If this trend continue, then one day pasighat ll be known as the Siang river and the 'smart' ll lose its smartness.

To provide for the aspirations and needs of the citizens, urban planners ideally aim at developing the entire eco-system, which is represented by the four pillars of comprehensive development-institution, physical social and economical infrastructure

However, some definition boundaries are required to guide cities in the mission. In my imagination, the picture of a smart city contains a wish list of infrastructure and services that describes his or her level of aspiration.
