The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 10th December, 2015.

What is Smart city? When we talk of a smart city, the question arises in the mind that what is a smart city? Well! Here is no universal accepted definition of a Smart City. The conceptualisation varies from city to city and country to country developing on the level of development, willingness to change and reform, resources and aspirations of the city residents.

It Pasighat town is selected for smart city project 1.Water supply and sewerage system to be improved. 2.Electricity to be given priority 3.All road communication to be improved.

Smart city branding need to smart of people and technology with the public and govt. Create landmark and properties that may be promote balanced of economic and growth of social harmony.

1 market places is to be developed. 2. Thereafter good supply of electricity and water. 3. Proper Communication should be more develop. 4. There should be ATM at least 10 nos.

I want to be Pasighat smart city. If road facility, women safety and most important thing provide poor people a better house and a good facility school where all the children and who are very poor cannot effort school. I want to be all the children of Pasighat will be educated and also for health centre for primary on secondary. If they all facility are in Pasighat then Pasighat become a smart city. So my last suggestion keeps your city clean.

Most of the problem about pasighat people is they know so many thing, they also have sources to do that thing. But because of the poor technologies and their ignorance on the project which they had taken. If this thing will not on the pasighat people mind, then Pasighat would be more than a smart city to call, or we can say that Pasighat should be the great smart city of the India.

He traffic rules and regulations should be made strict. Like in European countries, the vehicles shall follow designated lane so that the traffic looks disciplined and chaos free.pasighat shall be the first Indian city to adopt this and that will set an example of how pasighat is different from rest of India. pasighat with better commercial infrastructure. pasighat an education center with better communication and transport and better business.

Arunachal Pradesh is one of the best place for school education...but still there is need for higher education in Engineering and medical science......Pasighat can be one of the best city for education hub for higher education. Infrastructure need to be upgraded with latest technology and IT and other industries can be set up to provide job for youngsters...... I am fully support pasighat to be come under smart city
