The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 10th December, 2015.

As pasighgat is nominated for the Smart City ,there must be a good education quality. there also be a good education facility because education is the only way for educated people . and education is the basic for all the development takes place in a city or smart city.

Basic infrastructure:-Assured electricity supply and solid waste management,efficient urban mobility and public transport and security of citizen.

The smart city scheme is the one and only way to develop the centurial old town pasighat. for many years the development has been minimum. the lack of electricity, the lack of awareness ,the lack of discipline in infrastructure like roads ,bridges etc. it is high time the central govt ponder our problems select it on top20 cities.

**Healthy Pasighat requires CLEAN AND GREEN with proper road and drainage system and organic farming for sustainable development and sporting activities such as MISSION FOOTBALL Field, Pasighat a CYCLING destination of the world.

*facilities of health care & hygiene. *I want improvement of road condition. * Embankment of siang river and it's bank beautification with park, garden. *Establishment of all India medical institute(AIMS)at pasighat

Indeed a very Proud moment not only for Pasighatian but for all Arunachalees. But this centurion city is facing acute problem of land encroachment and unfortunately most of the land grabbers are govt. servants. Until and unless an amicable solution is reach with public and govt. participation the dream of Smart City will be a failure.

We should look seriously into this matter and also improvement of electricity supply it developed the districts also pasighat government should take an early measure to address this serious problem. Happing the voltage will improve as possible.

1) Transportation should be developed. 2) Industries should be established. 3) Bio –bio mall, building etc should be build. 4) Communication system should be more developed.
