The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

4. Medical facilities should available better for all citizen of pasighat. 5. Smart crime control system is to be available. 6. Free WI-FI service done here.

good sanitation facilities Better public transport system and encourage people to use. Discourage encroachment put heavy penalties

With the mighty siang by the side, there should be no dart of electricity and water. But thing is not going in favour of it. Hydro-power can be developed over Siang River. Water can be tapped from both siang and its tributaries but people are facing hardship because of the two things.

My few suggestions a as under: 1. In my smart city first citizen must be civilized. So education system must be better than normal places/cities. 2. Power supply in and around township should be adequate. Only then city will be develop. 3. Water supply & water storage should be regular and hygienic drinking water.

Proper traffic signals. Medical facilities should be there in every public transport. Motivation to public should be given to people for keeping their building intact

As a citizen form pasighat that i want to state that 1) Infrastructure should be well maintained. 2) Proper functioning of municipal committee. 3) Proper drainage system should be made. 4) There should be park and swimming pool in Pasighat.

Digital India is a campaign run by the government of India to make this country a digitally empowered country. The aim of launching this campaign is to provide Indian citizens electronic government services by reducing the paperwork. It is very effective and efficient technique which will save time and man power to a great extent.

. The drainage system will also prevent accumulation of scattered garbage’s of the streets, pavements and pathways. This is a smart idea for Pasighat as a smart city.

As smart city is concern, Pasighat should be designed to have a well develop comprehensive drainage system. Each and every household should be access to the drainage system to enable a healthy and hygienic environment of living in it. The highways, the streets and the roads which are interconnecting should be made to release water during heavy rain pours into the drainage system to prevent water blogging roads, streets and pathways within the city.
