The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

We can harvest the rain water to utilize for our daily needs. We all know that water is the most important thing to live. Therefore, our public and government take important decision to improve our water supply. 100% treatment of waste water means renew for drinking.

e)GOOD GOVERNANCE ESPECIALLY E-GOVERNANCE CITIZEN PARTICIPATION:-Our hope is also that our government should be good governance especially e-government & citizen participation is also well required to make Psg.a smart,well developed.

Improving education levels by reducing dropout rate and increasing the proportion of persons aged 30-34 yrs with university degrees of equivalent qualification.

Water supply; - water supply is very poor in pasighat. In during e=summer season there is lack of drinking water, the water is available but its duty. Government should take important decision about the problem of water and also the public should be available of drinking water and also the public should take care about the water supply, water should not be waste.

Smart city- A developed urban area that creates sustainable economic development and high quality of life by excelling in multiple key areas economy mobility environment people living and government.Excelling in these key areas can be done.So through strong human capital social capital and or ITC infrastructure .
