The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 10th December, 2015.

d)EFFICIENT URBAN MOBELITY AND PUBLIC TRANSPORT:-For trading or travelling purpose good roads is required so we should have good transportation facilities. In this coming days communication is much required,so we should have good communication system. To help people to be fit, healthy & disease resistance.Doctors & nurse should be available at Hospitals regularly & help the needy people.Good transportation facilities in my dream smart city of Psg.& good communication system

Technology as the main driver of the smart city. Smart leadership and smart people are essential are – requisites for making cities which have smart physical , social, institutional and economic infrastructure and generate options for a common man to pursue his/her livelihood are smart cities.

Indeed a very Proud moment not only for Pasighatian but for all Arunachalees. But this centurion city is facing acute problem of land encroachment and unfortunately most of the land grabbers are govt. servants. Until and unless an amicable solution is reach with public and govt. participation the dream of Smart City will be a failure.

c)ASSUMED ELECTRICITY SUPPLY:-For development programmes & to avoid darkness electricity is required so we should have good electricity facilities for everyone rich or poor.provide good electricity facilities to the poor peoples and citizens of the Psg.

Smart city is a temporary endeavor having a defined beginning and end normally contained by data but can be by bounding or deliverables.Sebastian Nokes says that a project is undertaken to meet unique goals and objectives usually to bring about beneficial change or added value.The temporary nature of smart city stands in contrast to business as usual and its operations which are repetitive permanent or semi permanent functional work to produce product or services.
