The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

*Administration service will be given to the citizens of poor people of pasighat by which they can easily be given employment for the economical growth of the poor people of pasighat city.

The features of smart city are 1)automatic traffic signals.2) Better public transport facility, to reduce traffic on roads there will be improvement in existing public transport system. 3) Quick accident relief.Data center.4)face identification system to nab criminal,the photos and DNA of criminals and suspect will be entered in computer and information will also be shared with other cities.4)Control room: there will be an integrated control room for crime, health,services.

Better public transport system and encourage people to use. Discourage encroachment put heavy penalties Encourage paperless work, motivate government employees for time bound services and understand their responsibility.

There must be no social difference between the local citizens and the outsiders working here. The education system must be improved. Teachers should improve their teaching style. Their leaves should be granted only in the case of emergency. The teachers teaching in villages should be checked regularly. Coaching centres for entrance examination should be opened to counsel them for their future.

I want pasighat to be healthy full of greenery, equipped with all modern technique like underground parking, flyovers, modern 4G, Wi-Fi , police stations with motor engine like H-fuel tankers, school with modern technique equipments, all modern technique equipments available to all new schools or collages going students, steps against communalism should be taken, cleanliness should be maintained properly and people must live with happiness, equality and modernity. In order to bring sustainable environment we must take care not to disturb nature unless situation warrants. And wherever any developmental project is to be bring there, utmost care should be taken not to disturb nature.
