The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 10th December, 2015.

*Smart school should be built where tablet is used instead of books to reduce deforestation. *Technological center should be built.

Arunachal Pradesh is one of the best place for school education...but still there is need for higher education in Engineering and medical science......Pasighat can be one of the best city for education hub for higher education. Infrastructure need to be upgraded with latest technology and IT and other industries can be set up to provide job for youngsters...... I am fully support pasighat to be come under smart city.....

It is essential for developing a city to have a strategy for a smarter city. This strategy will help determine where and where and when to invest , will articulate key milestones and returns on investment ande can help define an integration optimization calendar across all systems.
