The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

1)Perhaps the most problematic aspect of PASIGHAT is garbage disposal. There is no mandatory requirement or provision here to separate dry, wet and hazardous garbage. It is essential that we create infra-structure for this. 2)I would also like to suggest that the overload on the sewerage system and water supply system can be lowered with the encouragement of bio-degradable composting toilets (ex. DRDO bio digester toilets) and water harvesting systems

But to build a smart city, first we the citizen have to be smart and smartly we should take part in the it to exuall it in the first phase consisting of 20 smart cities.

The town is continuously growing development. And now in the 100 smart city program of our honourable Prime Minister shri narendra modi it has managed to small its name in the list. In my view a smart city which is capable to meet every need of the citizen residing in it.

The railways, metros and many major development. Congratulation to the people of pasigaht for a major development pasigaht will be connected to the world wide. Pasighat will be well known to the world.

What kind of a Smart City where at every tourist spot, every market and at every red light there are so many beggars. I think if we are really planning to make our PASIGHAT a smart city we should seriously think of firstly rehabilitation or employment of the beggars and make ourselves a beggar free city. I propose the idea of training these people in some form of traditional and cultural art and giving them areas where they can perform or work for a living.

1.Make roads broad and proper infrastructure 2.start city buses 3.start traffic signals 4.start one-way traffic at pasighat bazaar and on other busy routes

There will be no problem place by the people of pasighat because no people of pasigaht will be illiterate, there will be proper education facilities to each and every homes, water supplies to each and every homes, street lights to prevent quarrel in the high time children parks for the children.

#‎ Maintain‬ imp main road with foot paths& good quality ‪#‎ Arrange‬ for garbage management along with main road # ‎Control‬ over vehicles those move in wrong/opposite way ‪# ‎Promote‬ for car and private vehicles FREE DAY it control pollution & profit for govt city buses
