The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 10th December, 2015.

All upcoming and new technology should be made available,For,better network,more no.of tower should be set up, good drainage dumping around should be made.

Better and stronger infrastructure should be build up, every natural force should be utilized to create energy which of course will be Eco-friendly,Games and sport should also be made a part of education.

Public transport should be more encouraged than private transport median, co friendly industries should be set up, City cleaning process should be carried out regularly, Road transport ,water transport and air transport should be made sufficient available to all.

Pollution is the most effect able environmental destruction. There are many kinds of pollution such as air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution and space junk. We can decrease the all kinds of pollution by planting more and more trees. So, we should not do any kind of pollution and we should plant more and more trees.

To make a complete Smart City, I believe Pasighat should be provided with the following started with the education:- School,collages,universities,library and other institute should be firmly setup.

A city equipped with basic infrostructionn to city a decent quality of life, a clean and sustainable environment through application of smart city in arunachal pradest which fulfils the condition of having a exiting master plan or proposed city under the atal mission for rejuvenation and urban transformation (AMRUT) scheme, laundual by the central or union government.

As pasighat is among the 98 cities which is being selected as smart city. Pasighat not 80 smart as compare to the other cities of India. But if we try to make it smart then it would be pasighat to make pasighat should feel proud that they are being selected as smart people of a smart city.

I would like to see pasighat view a place with all the field of institute like medical, sport, fashion, arts, business etc. and it would be like that place that attract the tourist from all development the world. educating each & every children of this place as children are the future citizen of the nation. The nation depends on today chiildren.
