The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 10th December, 2015.

Better public transport system and encourage people to use. Discourage encroachment put heavy penalties Encourage paperless work, motivate government employees for time bound services and understand their responsibility.

For a smart makeup of the city its highly essential to have a feeling of civic sense among people if Pasighat. Secondly the people have to understand how it like to be living in an standardized area it lies in the citizens of Pasighat how to use the provided resources and bring out the best in it.

Airways have to be in our state and also hospitals with good doctors. Schools for higher studies their is students but no higher studies collages and those students have financial problems and they were unable to go further studies for outside due to the financial problem.

Smart City should be like fulfilment of all the people needs of Pasighat first of all I like to be good supply of electricity in all over the Pasighat especially from August to March because students those are studying in higher classes facing much problem in preparing their courses and should be available for every citizens of Pasighat C.C.T.V have to avail in every streets and highways

We suggested that all the our requirement should be done like:- 1.Water supply should be given every day 2.Water supply should be given every day 3.Zoo should be made in Pasighat 4.GYM should have in Pasighat 5.Factory should be have in Pasighat 6.Mall should be made in Pasighat.

A “smart” idea that have been seen in some other city uses digital technology or information and communication technology to increase the quality and performance of urban service to reduce cost and resource consumption and to engage more effectively and actively with its citizen.

My suggestion is that, Our Pasighat should be having all the facilities which a city must have. The citizens of Pasighat itself have to become Smart citizens. The city must have dustbins in each part of the way. The city must have better politics, better protect from all the types of robbers.

Technologically integrated and meticulously planned with a particular reliance on the use of information technology to improve efficiency. The smart ideas begin with more efficient and to improve well being.
