The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 10th December, 2015.

Finally pasighat is on the way of becoming a smart city. So, how i want my pasighat to shop by my vision .my dream of smart pasighat should be equipped with basic infrastucre to give a decent quality of life, clean and green environment.

-Make more efficient use of physical infrastructure ( roads, built environment and other physical assets) through artificial intelligence and data analytics to support a strong and healthy economic, social, cultural development.

-engage effectively with local people in local governance and decision by use of open innovation processes and e-participation ,improving the the collective intelligence of the city’s institutions through e-governance, with emphasis placed on citizen participation and co-design.

The population of the city should be counted and recorded. The smart city mission requires people who activity participate in governance and reforms, these people involves themselves in the definition of smart city since smart city is taking compact area approach it is necessary that all the city residents feel there is something in it for them also.

As no humans are beggars, and also they are physically fit government should convince them to work,and earn..this also helps to eradicate unemployment and also we can find no beggars on street also the city looks well to do ....
