-Making the transport smarter and convenient will add-up to the beauty of this city.
-sure it has the capability to attract More Tourists
-Developing 'Concrete Jungles' will just change it's identity. Aspects like, smart signals, vehicle tracking system are the essentials to make Coimbatore the ideal smart city.
-Promoting local businesses and adventure sports, developing some Unique Fun Clubs like Snow World for other sports which are not available will add the greatness to coimbatore.

1. Connect all local markets online so that availability of commodities can be tracked. This will reduce transport cost
2. Time punching should be made mandate in all Govt and Civic bodies. Also Complaint redressal and tracking/resolution should be made online.
3. Connect remote and peripherial parts of the town with frequent Green Transport like Tram. Introduce Waiting time Display board at each stops, GPS tracking for route information.
4. Encourage Solar power usage

1. Intercity public transport (may be Green transport). Boot away the Ageing city buses.
2. Local job creation. Though this city contributes to a large number of IT workforce in India we needs more own development centre
3. Development of Coimbatore Railway station to Worldclass levels.
4. Introduce regular flights to Dubai/coimbatore. & Western Countries

-Road junctions should be free of Congession for atleast walkers & cyclers.
-Walkers path should be built separately in the city roads.

-Need robust infrastructure, Internet connectivity,
-Oil free Waste Transporting vehicles.
-E-electronic autos/ Waste Transporting vehicles.
-Entrance of the city beautification
-Judicious waste management system.
-Bin all around the city.
-Door to. Door garbage collection.
-Solar Park.
-Strengthen public transport system.

Should have a Centralized (app based) system for complaints related to electricity/ water supply / storm water drainage and related infrastructure services. The system should be a two way, providing response and consumer feedback mechanism.
The solid waste collection and disposal need to carried out in a scientific and sustained manner which is not being done at present. Traffic police is doing excellent job by imposing fines on traffic violations, but also need to generate awareness

Always keeps the Coimbatore City's 8 lakes clean.
increase in fish natality. And this can be a tourist attraction in coimbatore & a strict action should be taken against those who throw garbage in or around the lakes in the city.

city should be user friendly.Markets and multilevel parking needs to be installed or developed by government for easy accessibility of persons and to generate revenues for maintenance of areas .
Providing focal points for communities through those facilities such as multi modal stations, pedestrian plazas, and parkways.
•Wireless sensor systems and cameras need to be install at various locations of city.
•Fire brigade stations and high frequency machinery to be used for cleaning of city.
