1. Public transport must be improved. Metro is a good suggestion. 2. The tennis culture of Coimbatore must be recognised & more professional tennis academies must be set up. 3. All vehicles must obey Zebra line crossing rules & must stop if anyone is crossing along the zebra line 4. All roads must have a designated path for people on foot. 5. We need an effective public transportation system (Metro) before it becomes difficult to implement one. Get the water-bodies to be maintained. Siruvani water needs to be known to the world. Annapoorna coffee should get a geographical tag. Race Course walk-around should get recognised as a must visit. Maruthamalai needs to be identified as a must-visit. Proximity to Nilgiris should be advertised. Above all, Tamil is spoken in the most dignified manner here than anywhere else in the world.

storm water drains with grates which will not allow large pieces of garbage to flow in and block the under ground drain roads to be laid so that the buildings around it don't go lower than the newly relaid roads planned permanent covered cable trenches along roads for electrical and other cables to be laid so that roads are not dug up frequently when repairing them or the water lines with accessible manhole covers laid flat so we don't trip ! sidewalks over the trenches Ring road

All the electrical/telephone lines should be taken underground. Adequate parking spaces could be created at choking points. The density of population in a street should be controlled to the level that it can handle by not allowing construction beyond the laid down number of commercial/rental spaces and by restricting the plot areas to a minimum level below which it should not be permissible(preferably a 40 ft x 60 ft plot) with adequate space in between homes.

Make Under ground drainage connection compulsory in places where UGD is availalble. Many households have not taken the connection and are draining it in to the badly built storm water drains, which has now become health hazard and stinking. If UGD is made compulsory this open drainage system will cease to exist and make the city smart.UGD in Bharathi park road 2 is not fully utilised, many house holds are still draining waste in the storm water drains also in ohter areas.make UGD a must for a smartc

Connect all the arterial roads through an inner ring road and an outer ring road and introduce a mass rapid transit system on both these roads with interconnecting points. Can be funded through an yearly payment of subscription for utilisation. The roads should have all modern technology based control of traffic. Remove corruption in government offices through extensive use of technology. Build a technology based garbage disposal system and flawless drainage system.

1)The corporation should first stop misusing green spaces like Bharathi park which is also a residential area like it is doing now by converting the space behind it as a waste segregation hub for ITC's WOW.It has spoiled the whole area. Its is also used as a parking place for waste collection vehicles which makes the area stink. How can a city be smart if a residential area and green park is polluted by the corporation it self.A fire on plastic waste can destroy the park and the residentialarea

We need a easy to approach anti corruption cell which can act against all departments like transport, income tax, lpa, justice dept, corporation, eb, water board etc etc. They should be able to file a case with some basic evidence like a cell phone recording and take effective action.
