1. Screaming horns used in bus / lorries not only horify elderly, women, kids, just born and to be born too. Db levels should be strictly maintained eliminating pipe horns.
2. Bus bays as mentioned by Mr Prem is very vital to avoid traffic getting choked due to buses parked in roads at bus stops.
Bus bays at eaither side of the road to be avoided and min of 0.25 km gap to be provided.
Parking in free lefts to be seriously looked.
Respect for rules will be lost if changed in short intervals.

Bus Bays - Designated bus bays on roads, so that it does not hinder the traffic.
Parks & Walkways - Coimbatore has so many lakes, and parks & walk ways to be created for recreation activities. All residential colony's should use the govt land for park and not for commercial purposes
Digital tagging of govt lands - All govt lands for public use should be made available digitally, so that citizen groups can develop for effective public use.

Coimbatore lacks infrastructure and development on the public/city limits.
1. There is no drainage system.2. Very poor waste disposal system.3. Drinking water supply is a concern.4. Traffic runs out of control, no discipline, and Police mere spectators, no lane discipline and rash driving including honking.
5. A pedestrian across the city cannot cross a road.6. Traffic signal system is obsolete and a failure , no replacements done for decades.
7. The city requires surveillance systems.

As a first step towards SMART City Mission, we need to have huge participation from the local population, and they have to have a sense of belonging to the city.
- Cleanliness : Directive should be from the Government bodies as well as private institutions/ Organizations to have sufficient dustbins and publicity
- Defacing Public Spaces: All political parties should be given designated locations to install their communication rather than spoiling the city. This includes Cinema posters
