Coimbatore City can be divided into many sectors like
1. Transport City - Irugur or L & T road. For Eg: Irugur Railway Station as Coimbatore Central, Central Bus Stand on L & T road, Airport Entrance from L & T road. In addition a EMU Train can be introduced with Irugur as a originating Terminal and the train runs to different terminals like Irugur to Mettuplayalam, Irugur to Ettimadai and Irugur to Tirupur. Even Kovai Mtero can be introduced by keeping Irugur as a terminal to other locations.

1. Any city will not become smart if it depletes natural resources. Especially in Coimbatore city, (good)water scarcity is going to be a big problem in the coming decades. To prevent this, the corporation should mandate Rain Water Harvesting & planting of trees.
2. Implementation of solar power plants inside the city in suitable locations to save generated electricity.
3. Usage of public transport should be encouraged in order to reduce carbon foot print.
