The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

We have to start eradicate corruption. We had a plan of Digital India where we can start monitoring all Govt Offices through latest technology and taking some action we can inculcate the fear in the persons who are culprits. We have to found the root cause for the corruption and we have to heal there instead of other places.

Govt. will have to take a lead on this as we are currently in the process of enabling private sector participation and ensuring sustainability. Govt. through agency like Coal India should ensure necessary skills and education are imparted to the workers as the enabling clause for pvt. sector participation through the ordinance will open up opportunities for lakhs of workers and we need to ensure that they are employable and they can lead a healthy life and contribute to the nation building.

This is a radical one - can bribe be made as an incentive or legalized as a payment for people above Poverty Line. Because if we ask people above Poverty line to pay some aspect as an incentive then people will get the job done. Incentive driven targets must be set for officials in all departments else low salaries and even office env is not a motivating factor.

For cleaning India, PM must pick a broom symbolically once a month on regular basis, because right now people are juts doing once, where as PM said 2 hrs/week. This is not happening needs that messaging for 2hrs/week.

For retrieving Black money outside India, why don't we pay some incentive to officials who are investigating these cases. This is a difficult job, but if its linked with monetary or other incentive then speedy progress will happen. On Other development projects or internal transformation then dividend driven by efficiency must be shared with people who are working.
