The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

I think there should be a collabration in the ratio of 60-40 % for a certain contract of years ,though you can make the adjustments - what has to be with the govt. and ehat has to be with the private sector,,, i think that youngsters(of govt. job) should be apart of this as ---as they will see that how private sectors are implementing the things to get profits, once contract over govt. can lead to open the others also at different areas to get more profits. Let all Major sector's initailly be undertaken in partnership mode of Govt. and Private i.e. PPP Mode. Slowly this can cover medium to small sectors. In case of Mining coming under the major sector Skill Development should be undertaken in PPP Mode.

Today the pm's arrival in banaras is the mark for new development of india.the people must see the speech as it will do some magic towards the development. I think education is main point for developing uttar pradesh.if they will not educate, they will not understand the chunav ka mahtav.as the government caming there is disappointing the people specially farmer and all the poor people so they must not give the vote to bogus government, else no development will be done further.. thank you

skill development planning is the great issue of the country bcoz skill development process dependent on the public interest..In maximum case we see that in yuth levale they have no target they are run & focus in multiple field he never set their goal and object this cause their intrest in the field lacks so i think that the skill development process done by private field.bocz this time peoples run towards the Goverment field it dosn't matter the job profile match their area of intrest are not.

yes. the role of skill development in miniing /power should be under govt. control. because the technologychqanges and it requires skill upgradation to meet the growth with nation . Example with National Power Training Istitute(minstry of power)is the govt boby in trainingand skill development in all level from artisions to managerial cadre.Further the growh of the sector is evident from the fact that NTPC's Capability to become leader in power sector because of trained man power from NPTI only.
