The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

Honble PM Sir, I'm very glad to see that you have started clean India campaign and people are taking interest in maintaining cleanliness , However I have noticed people are still littering, spitting around which really feels sad and brings disappointment. When we try to make them realize their mistake they retaliate and abuse us in return. May I suggest you to design a portal or website or source where we can share the photographs of such people soiling the nation and action be taken against.

Respected PMji, The skill development is a process that can be only accomplished when both the above parties go hand in hand. There should be compliance level and skill level examination that should be conducted by the government. A deadline should be given to the private players that by the end of a specific date all the working level should clear the exam. In case the employees of a firm are able to clear the exam then there could be a benefit\ relaxation given to the firm from govt's side.

Skill Development should be integrated with Swach Bharat Abhiyan by creating "Throughput Organizations" for Garbage/Waste Disposal. At present all talk/media coverage is limited to garbage disposal and public toilets. Why not create Organizations / SMSE Business Opportunities towards Collection, Transportation, Safe Disposal of all kinds of Waste IN EACH TOWN and VILLAGE. Unless that is done, India can never be clean. A small model is available in Kerala. Govt can support by Tax Concessions.

I would like to draw your attention to the way the convocations are still done in India by wearing those big colourful clothes, which remind me of those british colonial hang overs. I hope that under your leadership this should be done away, and degrees be presented to the students in an Indian way. Similarly the advocates wear those black coats and tie even in summer.
