The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

Yes in Mining Sector only Govt or Public authorities should hold the responsibility. Mining is very crucial for Country Development. It requires high level attention from competent authority as for every step skill can save our country's precious ores. Private sector can damage these valuable for their profit. Govt should not take help from private sectors as later it will again gives chance for corrupt nexus and mafias.

The Ganges Basin drains 1,000,000-square-kilometre (390,000 sq mi) and supports one of the world`s highest densities of humans. The average depth of the river is 52 feet (16 m), and the maximum depth, 100 feet (30 m). The river has been declared as India`s National River. The many symbolic meanings of the river on the Indian subcontinent were spoken to in 1946 by Jawaharlal Nehru in his Discovery of India,

The Ganges is one of the major rivers of the Indian subcontinent, flowing east through the Gangetic Plain of northern India into Bangladesh. The 2,510 km (1,560 mi) river rises in the western Himalayas in the Uttarakhand state of India, and drains into the Sunderbans delta in the Bay of Bengal. It has long been considered a holy river by Hindus and worshiped as the goddess Ganga in Hinduism. It has also been important historically: many former provincial or imperial capitals (such as Patliputra

To be very precise with the question, of course the skill development exercise should be with Govt./Public sector only. The only clause should be that the frequency and quality of these activities should be at par and monitored thoroughly. For this, study of other nations wrt this should be done and our policies or development structure should be built thereafter. I do not have much of knowledge in this field, but hope my suggestion is of some help. Thank You, Yours A Common Man of India.

Dear PM, I keep my words too short n straight. Please ban all kind of acid(tejab) in all shops and its raw material should be sold to industry under strict rules n regulation. I can't able to see even pictures of women affected by acid through by in human peoples. For cleaning purposes there are other products which does not effect human body. This thing can be stopped with simple rule"stop acid as easily available product" n save our sisters n women of our beloved country with this crime.
