In an ideal market place, supply and demand meet at some price point. If a skill gap is seen, then there may be fundamental reasons stopping the normal market forces from operating. Often, such reasons are born from more fundamental economic issues. If a mining operation requires new capital and operating equipment that are not locally manufactured, skills needed to design, manufacture, operate, train will all become expensive and that shows up as just a skill gap !!

i think as its a very serious & important matter so both Govt./ Private sector should undertake as private sector can provide latest tools and techniques and govt can regulate all requirements to implement best practices apart from that where huge fund is required than Govt.or public sector banks can provided needed resources.we can also establish some mechanism where any organization can give their suggestion for like a web portal for best case studies / industry news / leader industry etc.

Respected Sir, Kindly include Computer Science branch also in Indian Engineering Services (IES) Examination. Presently, categories of which recruitment is made through IES Examination are : i. Civil Engineering. ii.Mechanical Engineering. iii.Electrical Engineering. iv. Electronics & Tele-communication Engineering. But in this era of information technology, students who studied Computer Science as a main subject are not eligible for IES.This is an injustice to the computer brains in our country
