The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

Dear PMji, I have sent one complaint against Ms. Kumar Properties, Pune to you about 5 months back; also sending multiple reminders about the same. The builder is harassing the society members over society maintenance and handover of the society to us. He is not giving us society maintenance records and account details as promised which is leading to misappropriation of funds. He is now not letting our children to use the society club house. I sincerely urge you to help us in this matter.

It should be done by NGOs with a concept of Mentoring. Mentors are those experts in the field and govt can pay money for such mentors. Participants should be from public sector & Private participation. Regular feedback from participants to be taken and mentors have to be rewarded/removed.

Sir , I am a law professional working with Tata Group company operating in retail coffee houses in India. We are facing corrupt practices in Delhi Govt departments like MCD/NDMC /Delhi Pollution Control Committee etc. Despite our best business practices and our willingness to contribute to the society . Licensing system should be transparent in MCD/NDMC/DPCC and should not be as a mean to extort money from the food business operator. At each step there is system of corrupt practices

Skill Development in Mining Sector shall be undertaken in different forms, Government PSU who are directly related with Mining may undertake a certificate course of mining in remote part of the countries, to teach the locals about the skills of mining, security features to be adopted in mining. Only the certified people shall be engaged in mining sector. But full time Mining Engineering can be left with Private Sectors, also mining supervision courses may be added in ITIs

when we talk about skill development, we have to start from the basic from the rural areas. not only in the metro cities. in the rural areas where the basic education system is very ruined, very firstly making it well. then only we can move forward towards skill development and all other things.
