The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

Skills development should be applied to all the sectors , not only mining .. such as in agricultural ,creamics, small scale, software, hardware, defence system... and these should be handled by private sector but with government control

Dear All, Please make other parties specially Congress realize that India is changing and just stop saying the same again again that Govt is spreading poising and we spread love. we have seen enough love in last 65 years. This love has taken our country to a disastrous situation. I do not understand the Govt is not even talking about religion cast etc they only say One India Great India its only opposition who are saying jatee Dharm etc etc..what a pity.

I wish every ward has its own garbage utilization plan. completely owned and operated by locals. No company, no collaboration. This is possible we have learnt from those who have done it. Only need is the people in power to act honestly.

Now a days it is very difficult to know the approaching station while travelling in a train especially in an A/C coach even during day time. There fore we request you to make arrangement to set up a display board about the nearing station and its distance in all coaches of Indian Railways which will be useful for the passengers.Being the president of Rail & Road passengers Welfare Association,Kerala,I am getting many such complaints from public.Hope that you will do the needful.

Performance of an officer should be rated by the population the chair is serving. Example: MLA should be rated by the voters of his area/ward. for him there should be a website where the people should be able to put their needs, demands, complaints, etc.. and get an answer too. If some other person i willing to replace the existing MLA there should be a provision for that too. Password for login and voting can be made proxy proof and duplicate proof. I wish every ward has its own garbage utiliza

After working for 18 years in Coal India and last 6.5 years in Australian mining, I can see many areas where India-Australia can partner to upskill & train mining workforce. Indian mining training is more academic, while Australian mining is more practical oriented. For example, Australian mining graduate starts his\her career with driving trucks in mines. Skilling local people on remote mine sites in hands-on trade by augmented reality is being explored at Bhragomining.in. Mineral economics....

I don't want to pass on or hold the JHADU passed on by some body to clean Bharat. I do not litter around - that is all! We have empowered people siting in the power not only the elected representatives but also those take salaries off our tax money. They should be made accountable for the position which they have occupied and the facilities they enjoy of their position. If we, the people feel that some-one is not performing that is the truth. No one Just feel that way. ......contd
