The e-Committee, Supreme Court of India envisages a judicial system that is more accessible, efficient, and equitable for every individual who engages with the justice delivery system. The right of access to justice, guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution encompasses the right to access live court proceedings.

To imbue greater transparency, inclusivity and foster access to justice, the e-Committee has undertaken the project of live streaming of court proceedings on priority. This will enable access to live court proceedings, including on matters of public interest to citizens, journalists, civil society, academicians, and law students on a real-time basis, which was not otherwise possible owing to geographical, logistical, or infrastructural issues.

The e-Committee, Supreme Court of India invites inputs, feedback, and suggestions on the Draft Model Rules for Live-Streaming and Recording of Court Proceedings.

Click here to read the Draft Model Rules for Live-Streaming and Recording of Court Proceedings.

The last date to receive Suggestions/Inputs is 30th June 2021.

using technology for even small needs like Google map, health , entertainment and fight against corona online good like CIBIL Rating similar ratings should be assigned to courts, lawyers, for the time taken by them, results of the cases they took. peope will also know good, bad lawyers and good will be preferred bad lawyers will get message to improve. if 100% corruption is eliminated from judiciary then 90% world will be corruption free

Sir, after familarisation with constitution citizens can very well define right & duty which enable them a more responsible one and would seek justice when they r forced to do unjustified things by any outer inducement or subjugated upon by wrong means. so live streaming & recording of court proceedings would be force multiplier to instill faith in our judiciary which is comparatively lagging among all fundamental three pillars of democracy. so do the best for citizens for inclusive democracy.tk

Sir, we r always listening & speaking alot about our constitution and venerating drafter of constitution as a divine God by some section of people to ripe the political mileage fm it but most of citizens do not know or familar with our constitution in first place after so many yrs of self reigning which is working against their democratic spirit & fuelling a parasitic aristocratic looters and plunders. so constitution to be taught fm 6th to 10th classes which will foster access to justice, etc.

Right to life Every citizen has the right to life, liberty, and security of person. The right to life is the fundamental right in the Indian constitution. Human rights are only attached to living beings. The right to life is the most valuable rights to citizens. There would have been no Fundamental Rights, worth mentioning if Article 21 had been interpreted in its original sense. This article examines the right to life which is interpreted by the Supreme Court of India in numerous cases.
