Recognizing the universal appeal of Yoga, owing to its demonstrated benefits towards immunity building and stress relief, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) proclaimed 21st June as the International Day of Yoga (IDY) on 11th December 2014. Since 2015, this day has been observed worldwide in ever-growing numbers, to remind people across the globe about the benefits of Yoga, and to build enduring public interest in Yoga by highlighting its importance and contributions to public health.

The preparations for the 8th International Day of Yoga (IDY 2022) have already begun and the Ministry of Ayush (MoA) is looking forward to active participation from the people. As the world faced a tough time due to the pandemic of Covid-19, wherein, Yoga has emerged as the saviour for many.

Yoga is healing our minds, bodies and spirits while giving back to society. It's a way of life by following the approach to wellness, social, and environmental well-being for global development. Yoga unfolds the infinite potentials of the human mind and body and set the guidelines for how to lead a sustainable lifestyle in the modern age by creating a positive impact on the planet inevitably leading humans to make more mindful choices.

With this backdrop, the Ministry of Ayush invites all citizens to share their ideas on how “Yoga for Humanity” may be persuaded further.

Animated series on Yoga should be prepared. Comic series on yoga should also be made. Every official VC should start or end with a YOGA. Benefits of that Yoga should also be discussed in brief so 4hat everyone may know something about it.

Yoga is a philosophy. Yoga is a technology, Yoga is an Art, Yoga is a Science .Yoga is interlinked to Microbody and Macrobody Human life will systematic. Yoga is health and happy, strong of body. so you can do yoga everyday 45minutes for health purposes.

we have to spread the benefits of yoga to everywhere specially kids, and youth. it is also beneficial for women also and specially for those who lived in rural areas. for creating awareness about this we have to organise yoga competion in evey wards and give some rewards for those who is doing perfect asanas. we can contact college students and doctors also for creating awareness and tells the benefits of yoga in their area and patients.

Surya namaskar should be done early morning therefore the same can be done at home itself other yoga asanas can be done in the school college where yoga is part of the curriculum

Modiji, Yoga should be included as a subject from small classes. I say this because our children from small classes spent lot of their precious childhood infront of Smart Phone, smart TV, etc. without looking into natural goodness or family happiness. So childrens are stressed by viewing unwanted things from electronic gadgets. So Yoga should start from age 7 level . Also along with Yoga we should teach our purana stories & our traditional culture of Vasudaiva Kudumbkam.

invigilation hub for every chowrasta/ main lane where the status,complaints, problems,security can be provided. in these , we can include yoga classes/week , where it can be made mandatory for citizens in that area
