The strings of India's development have been inseparably attached to the success of its Textiles sector. The industry's symbiotic relationship with agriculture widens the range of beneficiaries.

•4.5 crore people are directly employed while another 6 crores are indirectly in this sector with a considerable stake of women and rural population.

•5% of the global trade in textiles and apparel is to India's credit.

•India's centuries-old knowledge and expertise in this sector have positioned it as the world's 2nd largest manufacturer and exporter with a 12% share in total exports (2018-19).

And now we, at the Textiles Ministry have our sights set on achieving global leader status for India. Government under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has been pushing for innovation and incentives to realise the mission of Aatmanirbhar Bharat by bolstering exports, quality & productivity, competitiveness, technology up-gradation, research & development, and training & skill development in this industry.

Now, we are keen to listen to the suggestions of Industry experts, innovators, students, business leaders, and all other contributors to this sector to expedite our mission. As we mark the 75th year of India's Independence, we want you to have an increased stake in the success of the Textiles industry.

The last date to share your ideas and suggestions is 15th August 2021.

There is supply surplus in our country but no demand as our product is costly . removing taxes for short term will help the industry to create demand in export. this will curb demand from our competitive countries who are presently selling at lesser prices this will help our farmers and industry in long run. also govt may go for T shirt, diff shirts for different week days for all it's employees by paying a small amount and compulsory to wear at office. this will create demand for domestic

The quality & quantity right from sowing should be under control, farmers should be aware of these things, Prices from cotton to readymade fabric should be minimum possible to beat global competition. Also to achieve these goals a better education & training should be provided in schools & colleges. THANKS

1) Grocery shopping portal With the invention of technology and E-Commerce, people find it very wasteful to spend hours buying day-to-day groceries. People prefer ordering groceries to be delivered at their doorsteps. You can start E-shopping portal and become entrepreneur. 2) Tree farm Tree farm grows trees and earns money by selling them. The waiting period of earning money in this business is quite high as the growing of trees requires considerable time. This is one of the best small etc.
