Central/State Govt must have the Solar Systems installed on every Government offices such as Zilha Parishad. District Banks, Panchayat Samiti, State Government Transport Services and Many more where viable and tap the energy generated into its grid. Allow the energy generated pay for the energy consumption of each user's cost adjusted towards the amount generated bill them for the balance or refund them the excess energy produced.

As a policy every organization should have means to generate at least 10% of their energy consumption from renewable energy resources, such as solar power, wind power or etc. Rather than penalizing for non-compliance, those going beyond the mandated 10% should be given discounts proportionate to their increased use. This will encourage rather than making it a compliance issue. All research efforts in the areas of applied Renewable energy technology will be eligible for funding.

Net metering has been introduced in Maharashtra for solar energy. But the power company ie MSEDCL is not ready with the net metering software. As a result those who have installed solar equipment are not getting benefit in their monthly bills. A large number of industrial as well as residential consumers are eager to go in for solar energy but are put off by this delay in software upgrade. The earlier this software is upgraded a large number of solar installations will result.

Central/State Govt must have the Solar Systems installed on every house/residential where viable and tap the energy generated into its grid. Allow the energy generated pay for the energy consumption of each user's cost adjusted towards the amount generated bill them for the balance or refund them the excess energy produced. The cost of the energy should structure the capital cost of Solar installation with interest and maintaince as applicable. India will be surprised with the results.

1. In Delhi - ALL govt buildings, including residential should have solar panels & water harvesting. Presently CPWD wastes its budget in cosmetic changes of tiles, marbling etc. 2. solar panel powered lights & fans in ALL households of Villages 3. Biogas plants in all villages. This can be financed by MPLAD funds.
